OUR TEAM

ANDI CARROLL, Founder and Co-Owner
Andi is the founder and co-owner of Home Careolina.  She started the company in 2004 after taking some time off from work to start her family.  She and her husband, Rob, and four children have lived in Davidson since 1996.  Originally from Arkansas, she obtained her BA degree in Journalism from The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.  Prior to starting her home care agency, she worked for an advertising agency in Little Rock, Arkansas.  After that, she worked as an aide for U.S. Congressman Bill Alexander in Washington, DC, and then served as the Director of the Legislative and Public Education Fund for the American Resort Developers also in Washington, DC.  Upon re-entering the work force, Andi wanted to start a business that filled a need in the community and was service oriented. She also wanted her children to see the importance of taking care of our elderly friends and neighbors.  At the time there was not a local home care agency in Davidson, Cornelius or Huntersville.  And, Home Careolina is still the only non-franchise home care option available in the area.  This is meaningful to Home Careolina clients in terms of flexibility and value.  In 2015, Andi organized the first annual Home Careolina Carolers event which sent area youth to the homes of Lake Norman area senior citizens for caroling  and delivery of baked goods. It was well received in the community.  Andi is also an active member of Davidson United Methodist Church and was an officer on the founding board  of W.A. Hough High School's Athletic Booster Club.  She also enjoys being a resource to the community regarding senior care needs, resources and living options.  Feel free to contact her with any questions that you might have regarding Home Careolina or care options in general.

LYNN DAVIS, Co-Owner
More than ten years ago, Lynn partnered with Andi Carroll, Home Careolina’s founder, to work to provide seniors the option of aging at home with the help of trained and compassionate caregivers.  Lynn grew up in North Carolina living next door to her grandmother with whom she developed a special bond.  She sees a little of her grandmother in many of the seniors she meets today and is proud that she and Andi have built a business that offers seniors and their families some peace of mind and respite.  Lynn and her husband, Brad, have lived in the Lake Norman community since 1989, raising 3 children and have 3 grandchildren.  Lynn attended Limestone College of Gaffney, S.C. where she studied Business Administration.  She previously worked for 17 years at Duke Energy’s Catawba and McGuire Nuclear Stations.  She left her role in Duke’s engineering department to become a stay at home mom and get more involved in her community.  Working in the nuclear field gave Lynn an appreciation for the importance of processes, procedures, and attention to detail which has been directly transferable to working in the area of senior care.   Lynn has been a supportive member of the community allocating time over the years to assist at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen and to drive the Community Food Truck collecting donations from local restaurants and grocery stores.  She has actively participated in various charitable fund raisers for ALS, the National Marrow Donor Program, and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  Last year, Lynn had the opportunity to sing with the Outreach Singers from her church to the residents of local assisted living/nursing homes and rehabilitation centers such as The Pines, Huntersville Oaks, the Brian Center, and Churchill.  She felt blessed to see their smiles and hear their voices sing out some of the old tunes they remembered.

Barbara Moore, RN, BSN, Agency Director, RN Supervisor Barbara grew up in Charlotte and received her Bachelor's of Science from nursing in 1998 from UNC-Chapel Hill. Since then, she has worked as a nurse in various fields including neurosurgery, orthopedics, rehabilitation, community health, and most recently worked as the Director of Senior Adult Ministries at a local church in Davidson.  Barbara has a passion for geriatric nursing and loves working with senior adults.  Barbara lives in Davidson with her husband and three boys.  In her free time, after managing boys' sports schedules, she is an active member at Davidson United Methodist Church teaching Confirmation classes, participating in a women's circle, and serving as a buddy to those with special needs.  She enjoys tennis, loves to garden, and take walks with her dog, Carly.
